  • explain the definition, pathophysiology and clinical impact of central sleep apnea (CSA)
  •  identify the principle of transvenous phrenic nerve pacing for CSA
  •  describe clinical indications and patient selection for transvenous phrenic nerve pacing for CSA
  • discuss the approach to device implantation and subsequent care
  •  review the efficacy of phrenic nerve pacing for CSA
