- Describe recent technological advances in neuroscience that transform our ability to understand the circuit basis of psychiatric disease
- Explain the issue of neural cell-type heterogeneity and how it affects our understanding of neural circuits
- Discuss new research findings related to the neural circuit underpinnings of depression
- Describe how such findings may impact future treatments of depression
