At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

• Recognize histopathologic features of acute versus chronic mucormycosis.

• Determine how the presence or absence of angioinvasion contributes to the differences in clinical behavior in acute mucormycosis infection compared with the chronic disease.

• Recognize the clinicopathologic features of MCD and FSGS.

• Explain the prognostic histopathologic features observed in MCD and FSGS.
