High Reliability Organization Universal Skills Workshop
![]() |
This activity is designed for employees across the health system to build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to consistently apply High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles in daily work. Participants will gain practical tools to recognize and respond to safety risks, strengthen communication and teamwork, and contribute to a shared culture of accountability and reliability. Through this training, learners will develop a clearer understanding of their individual role in preventing harm and will be better prepared to take proactive, informed actions that support safe, high-quality care. This program promotes a common language and standardized approach to safety across teams and departments, enabling more consistent practices and improved collaboration. Ultimately, this activity empowers employees to translate HRO principles into everyday behaviors, advancing Geisinger’s commitment to eliminating preventable harm and delivering reliable care to the communities it serves. |
