Target Audience
This workshop is designed for all members of the healthcare team and equips participants with the skills and tools needed to cultivate respect, safety, and trust and strengthen communication and collaboration across disciplines.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- describe the need and evidence-based rationale for - as well as challenges in - improving interprofessional communication
- identify communication skills and strategies for responding to disrespect, demonstrating respect, and resolving conflict
- apply these skills and strategies after practicing in structured opportunities

Attendance
Attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity. Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
