Annual Primary Care Conference

This is an in-person educational activity. Participants will gain practical skills in managing patients with chronic kidney disease and memory disorders, while staying current with the latest advancements in cardiology and pediatrics. They will also be introduced to modern diagnostic tools, such as dermoscopy, to enhance the delivery of timely and effective patient care. The conference offers concise, evidence-based guidance on perimenopause and HRT to support personalized care decisions in primary care. 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for community medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and clinical pharmacists.  Other learner groups such as family medicine residents and medical students would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • identify patients with CKD early and improve long term outcomes
  • use derma scopes to diagnose and timely refer appropriate patients to dermatology
  • improve early detection and management of cognitive disorders in primary care
  • diagnose and manage patient with cardiac disorders utilizing most up-to-date evidence-based guidelines
  • stay current with key pediatric updates to enhance care in primary practice

Attendance
Attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
