Series Overview

This program is intended to review specific cardiac disease processes and reinforce standards for transthoracic echocardiogram imaging. This activity supports quality improvement to develop standardized guidelines for image acquisition and expectations for post processing measurements. System wide echo tech education will allow for participation and collaboration across the echo labs of the entire Geisinger system.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for Sonographers, Nurses, and Non-invasive Cardiologists. Other learner groups such as cardiac ultrasound students would also benefit from this education.
