Series Overview
These sessions will elevate the knowledge of the sonographers by providing an understanding of disease specific processes, cardiac pathology, and image acquisition standards and protocols to follow when performing cardiac studies. The sonographers make effective use of the knowledge gained during the sessions to improve their daily performance and overall quality of the images they are obtaining.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for Sonographers, RN sonographers, Agency sonographers, Cardiology fellows, and Non-invasive cardiologists. Other learner groups such as cardiac ultrasound students completing their clinical rotation in the department would also benefit from this education.
