  • Define the following
    • Peer Support
    • 3 characteristics of a Peer Supporter
    • Empathy
    • Active listening
  • Differentiate between Empathy and Sympathy
  • Identify 5 key elements of empathy
  • Identify the 7 key active listening skills
  • Differentiate between closed-ended and open-ended questions
  • Describe how layers of diversity impact the workplace environment.
  • Interpret the characteristics and habits of inclusive leaders.
  • Analyze Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICS) - a cross-culturally valid assessment tool for identifying core approaches to improving communication, resolving conflicts and solving problems across cultural differences.
  • Define how structural barriers and biases that can impede their ability to perform as inclusive leaders in the workplace. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge on ways to dismantle biases including tools such as the ICS.
