- Define the following
- Peer Support
- 3 characteristics of a Peer Supporter
- Empathy
- Active listening
- Differentiate between Empathy and Sympathy
- Identify 5 key elements of empathy
- Identify the 7 key active listening skills
- Differentiate between closed-ended and open-ended questions
- Describe how layers of diversity impact the workplace environment.
- Interpret the characteristics and habits of inclusive leaders.
- Analyze Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICS) - a cross-culturally valid assessment tool for identifying core approaches to improving communication, resolving conflicts and solving problems across cultural differences.
- Define how structural barriers and biases that can impede their ability to perform as inclusive leaders in the workplace.
- Demonstrate knowledge on ways to dismantle biases including tools such as the ICS.
