Update in Internal Medicine - Virtual Only

This is a virtual educational activity. This program will provide an update on topics related to Internal medicine and primary care and consist of a broad variety of topics that can be used in the learner’s practice and is appropriate for all types of practices.

Target Audience

This program is designed for Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Pharmacist and Nurses.  Other learner groups such as Social Workers, Speech Therapists and Physical Therapists would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • identify when to use a cognitive screening exam and which test to use
  • administer and score cognitive screening tests
  • review updated guidelines on vaccination
  • identify skin conditions that occur in darker skinned individuals
  • recognize how skin pigmentation may affect the presentation of various skin conditions

Your attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
