Update in Internal Medicine
This is an in-person educational activity. This is an annual activity with lectures designed to improve the attendee's knowledge of a variety of topics relevant to Internal Medicine. Learners will be presented with current information on topics of interest to a practitioner, both generalists and specialists.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, mid-level providers, pharmacists and nurses in primary care and specialty practices. Other learner groups such as social workers or public health professions may benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- identify common causes for chronic cough in a primary care population
- recognize pros and cons of screening for osteoporosis
- identify symptoms of ADHD and criteria for diagnosis
- discuss treatment options for ADHD in adults
There is no parking at the Henry Hood Center for Health Research. Visitors will need to park in the visitor parking lots and take shuttle bus to the Henry Hood Center for Health Research. You will need to inform the shuttle bus driver that you need to be dropped off at the Henry Hood Center for Health Research.
You may use valet parking at your own expense if you chose not to park in the visitor parking lots.
