Program Description
This is a live Educational Activity.
Trauma Nuts and Bolts will empower nurses with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and practical training to provide expert care for trauma patients.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for registered nurses. Other learner groups such as Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse’s Aides would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- discuss the mechanism of injury in the following area chest and abdomen
- describe the care of special trauma patients with chest injuries
- identify nursing interventions to assist the healing process of trauma patients
