Second Annual Sepsis Conference

This is a hybrid educational activity. This conference is designed to provide foundational knowledge as well as actionable key takeaways to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the interprofessional healthcare team that cares for patients with sepsis.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for medical students, residents, physicians (allopathic and osteopathic), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and psychologists. Other learner groups such as administration, operational directors, finance, and IT would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to: 

  • identify and describe sepsis
  • communicate and relate sepsis regulations compared to physician clinical practice
  • discuss the benefits of technology and protocols to improve timeliness of care
  • identify and notify when appropriate to manage and in care transitions

Attendance
Attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity. Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
