Rheumatology Visiting Professor: Idiopathic Inflammatory Muscle Disease Update - August 22, 2025
Target Audience
This activity is designed for neurology staff and rheumatology staff. Other learner groups such as neurology learners, internal medicine residents, medical students rotating on neurology and rheumatology would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- describe the new myositis specific antibodies and their clinical disease associations
- recognize the clinical clues to diagnose the idiopathic inflammatory myopathies
- develop sophisticated and detailed management plans for the various idiopathic inflammatory myopathies
