  • identify the difference between moral distress and compassion fatigue
  • identify factors that influence your own professional quality of life
  • identify two ways in which you can improve your professional quality of life and/or your resilience
  • discuss the support groups available for trauma survivors and their families and how to get involved in them
  • summarize Licensed Practical Nurse Scope of Practice Guidelines
  • identify Professional Development Opportunities for Licensed Practical Nurses
  • define sexual assault
  • summarize sexual assault prevention strategies
  • identify resources available for victims of sexual assault
  • state the purpose of the K9 program and specialized K-9 skills

This program will be held at the Henry Hood Center for Health Research which is located on the Geisinger campus in Danville, Pennsylvania  (Montour County), Exit 224 on Interstate 80. Routes 11 and 54 also intersect in Danville.
