Innovations in Glomerular Disease: A Provider Update
Target Audience
This activity is designed for Nephrology and Rheumatology: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and pharmacists. Other learner groups such as fellows and medical students would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- recognize and understand lupus nephritis treatment guidelines
- gain knowledge of indications for use of avcopan in ANCA-associated vasculitis
- discuss novel therapies for IgA nephropathy and latest research
- increase awareness of the role for genetic testing in glomerular disease
- manage glomerular disease recurrence in kidney transplant patients
