Improving Blood Pressure Control in 2025, Geisinger Hypertension Conference
This is an in-person educational activity. Improving Blood Pressure Control in 2025, Geisinger Hypertension Conference will be covering key topics in hypertension management, discussing updates and best practices for improving blood pressure control rates at the health system level. Through didactic lectures and case-based discussions hypertension experts from Geisinger and other institutions will discuss key topics and share best practices for diagnosis and management of hypertension, with the goal of improving blood pressure control in various clinical situations. This activity is relevant to primary care providers, specialists involved in the care of patients with hypertension as well as to pharmacists, and advanced providers.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses and dietitians. Other learner groups such as residents, fellows, nursing students and physician assistant students would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- describe the current state of hypertension control at Geisinger
- describe the current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of hypertension
- identify and leverage health systems available at Geisinger to aid clinicians in management of hypertension
- identify and refer early patients with resistant hypertension
- discuss device-based therapies for the management of resistant hypertension
Travel
There is no parking at the Henry Hood Center for Health Research. Visitors will need to park in the visitor parking lots and take shuttle bus to the Henry Hood Center for Health Research. You will need to inform the shuttle bus driver that you need to be dropped off at the Henry Hood Center for Health Research.
You may use valet parking at your own expense if you chose not to park in the visitor parking lots.
