Healthy Beginnings Conference

This is a live educational activity.  Attending the Healthy Beginnings Conference can give you new ideas, help refine your existing concepts and enhance your mind of resources, programs, and education to benefit your role as a Healthy Beginnings Coordinator. This is also an opportunity to meet leaders and strengthen your professional network connections with other Healthy Beginnings Coordinators from other Health Systems. You will gain insights and benefit from perspectives and fresh ideas from keynote speakers. 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for nurses, nurse practitioners and social workers.  

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • discuss the importance of assessing for food insecurity
  • discuss the importance of referral and workflow to enroll patients in WIC
  • identify risk of use of marijuana in pregnancy
  • describe the benefits of RSV vaccine in the pregnant mother

Attendance

Attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
