Enduring - This is a virtual, asynchronous educational session that is part of the Center for Faculty and Professional Development’s Foundations in Medical Education series.

Foundations in Medical Education offers participants an opportunity to attend a live, virtual one-hour session that focuses on one of following four foundational topics in medical education: learning theory, clinical teaching, classroom teaching, and assessment and evaluation.

Target Audience

Residents & fellow PDs, APDs, faculty & coordinators, medical students, clerkship directors & coordinators, clinical staff, advanced practitioners, CE activity directors, faculty & organizers.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • identify some similarities and differences of Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Gen Z
  • discuss whether Generation theory is a myth
