Geisinger Annual Breast Conference
Target Audience
This activity is designed for medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, breast surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician assistants. Other learner groups such as social workers, genetic counselors, medical and nursing students, healthcare administrators, public health professionals and community health workers would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- evaluate current evidence-based strategies in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer, including advancements and imaging, pathology and genomic testing
- integrate multidisciplinary approaches to breast cancer care that reduce a retreatment and aligned with current best practices to improve patient outcomes
- demonstrate improved communication and shared decision-making skills to enhance patient engagement and individualized treatment planning across diverse clinical scenarios
If attending in-person, all visitors should park in the patient parking lot. A shuttle bus will take you to the Henry Hood Center for Health Research, please notify the driver when boarding the bus of your final destination.

Henry Hood Center for Health Research is located on the Geisinger Campus in Danville, Pennsylvania (Montour County), Exit 224 on Interstate 80. Routes 11 and 54 also intersect in Danville.
