Target Audience
This activity is designed for Musculoskeletal faculty and staff, including resident physicians, fellows, medical students, and advanced practitioners. Other learner groups such as those in sub-surgical specialties would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- explain the epidemiology of Charcot Neuroarthropathy
- identify key clinical and radiographic features of Charcot in the lower extremity
- update clinicians on current research as it is poised to impact evidenced-based care in Charcot management
- articulate functional outcomes and expectations of Charcot feet
- correlate panel experience and expertise to current system-based practices in Charcot
