The All-on-X Treatment Concept – Surgical and Restorative Considerations
This is a virtual educational activity. Geisinger OMFS department surgeons to discuss both surgical and restorative considerations for the All-on-X concept for the restoration of complete edentulism. Main audience will be dentists in the community who are either currently offering this treatment to their patients or would like to start offering it in the future. The main goal will be to give dentists familiarity with the concept broadly as well as step-by-step guidelines for carrying our treatment.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for dentists and dental hygienists. Other learner groups such as dental assistants and dental administrators would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- explain the All-on-X concept for dental implant rehabilitation for complete edentulism
- identify patients in their practices that would benefit from All-on-X treatment
- explain the steps necessary to performing All-on-X treatment
- identify materials needed in order to complete All-on-X treatment
- explain post-operative care instructions to patients receiving All-on-X treatment
