Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, advanced practitioners, and nurses. Other learner groups such as pharmacists, social workers, child therapists, dentists, or anyone who participates in the care of children would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- discuss the role of complimentary care, such as dentistry, in identification and treatment of pediatric conditions
- diagnose and treat common medical conditions in Newborn infants in the outpatient setting
- recognize common pediatric skin conditions, know when to treat versus when referral is warranted
- improve diagnosis and management of Pediatric Obesity
- increase understanding of local healthcare policies and their impact on social determinants of health for children
- improve patient communication and strategies to address vaccine hesitancy
