28th Annual Community Medicine Update
Target Audience
This activity is designed for Family Practice and General Internal Medicine physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Other learner groups such as nursing staff in primary care (PCNC) and family medicine students and residents would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- improve recognition of venous and arterial insufficiency along with appropriate treatment
- increase comfort in pre-operative cardiac clearance exams and medication management
- discuss the need to have better understanding/interpretation of serum electrophoresis results in the process of working up various conditions
- explain the necessity of feeling more equipped in utilizing dermatoscope when evaluating pigmented skin lesions
