27th Annual Community Medicine Update
Target Audience
This activity is designed for family practice and general internal medicine physicians and physician assistants. Other learner groups such as nurse practitioners, nursing staff in primary care and family medicine, students and residents would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- discuss hyperlipidemia including treatment options and when to refer
- explain treatment of menopausal side effects
- prescribe weight loss medications and understanding side effects that may be associated with them
