26th Annual Community Medicine Update

This is a virtual educational activity. 

This annual conference provides valuable information and education on topics commonly seen in the primary care setting.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for Practice and GIM physicians, advance practitioners, family medicine students and residents.  Other learner groups such as nursing staff in primary care would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • manage COPD based on new guidelines.
  • discuss pediatric return to play guidelines after concussion.
  • prescribe diabetic medications to those with co-morbid chronic kidney disease.

A full refund will be given for any cancellations received up to one week prior to the course.  No refunds for no-shows.

In the unusual circumstance that this course is cancelled, you will be called and/or emailed, and any tuition fees received would be refunded in full.  Geisinger is not responsible for any airfare, hotel or other costs incurred.
 

Attendance

Your attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
