20th Annual Fall into Step with Respiratory Care

This is a virtual educational activity. Our 20th Annual Fall into Step with Respiratory Care Conference offers topics relevant to any healthcare staff who encounter patients with pulmonary diseases or disorders.  Topics will interest those working in either an inpatient or outpatient setting.  Speakers were carefully selected to encompass both adult critical care and pediatric critical care, pulmonology, and more. 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for respiratory therapists, nurses and physicians.  Other learner groups such as any member of the pulmonary healthcare team, respiratory therapy, or nursing students would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • recognize the importance of optimizing resources by focusing on value-based care initiatives in respiratory care
  • examine the biomechanics of flail chest injuries and other chest wall trauma
  • identify advances in artificial intelligence in pulmonary medicine

In the unusual circumstance that this course is cancelled, you will be called and/or emailed, and any tuition fees received would be refunded in full.  Geisinger is not responsible for any airfare, hotel or other costs incurred.
 
Attendance
Attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
