2024 Stroke Symposium

This is a virtual educational activity. This conference will provide updates and education on the most up to date evidence-based practices, for the care of the ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke population.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for medical professionals including but not limited to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacist, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, emergency medical technicians and paramedics.  Other learner groups such as rehab medicine: physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to: 

  • identify Signs and Symptoms of Stroke

  • review of current practice in caring for stroke patients

  • discuss the difference in level of care at each type of stroke center
