18th Annual Fall into Step with Respiratory Care
This is a virtual educational activity.
This conference offers topics relevant to any healthcare staff who encounter patients with pulmonary diseases or disorders. Topics will interest those working in either an inpatient setting or outpatient setting. Speakers were carefully selected to encompass both adult critical care and pediatric/neonatal critical care, emergency medicine, pulmonology, ethics and sleep medicine.
Target Audience
This course is designed for respiratory therapists, physicians and nurses. Other learner groups who would also benefit from this education are the pulmonary healthcare team and nursing students.
Learning Objectives
- identify the role of MAS in the development of persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn
- recognize evaluation considerations in those with deployment-related lung disease
- examine strategies for airway management in cardiac arrest
