15th Annual Pulmonary Medicine Symposium

This is a hybrid educational activity. The Geisinger Annual Pulmonary Medicine Symposium is designed to educate learners across multiple medical disciplines, with a primary emphasis on pulmonology. The conference seeks to highlight recent advancements and emerging developments in the field, emphasizing their relevance to patient-centered care across a broad range of clinical settings.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for advanced practice providers, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and social workers/care managers.  

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • define chronic cough accurately
  • discuss the most common causes of chronic cough
  • apply diagnostic testing for chronic cough, including but not limited to spirometry, provocative testing, chest imaging, and exhaled nitric oxide
  • describe testing available to support and manage gastroenterology-associated chronic cough
  • describe testing available to support and manage upper-airway-associated chronic cough

Attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
