15th Annual Our Mission to Teach: Precision Education: A Personalized Approach to Lifelong Learning

This conference brings together national experts at the forefront of precision education to discuss innovations and best practices for incorporating personalized learning approaches into medical education. Through a series of interactive sessions, participants will learn strategies for leveraging technology, data analytics, and assessment to provide customized educational experiences tailored to the specific backgrounds, skills, and learning trajectory of our learners.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for all educators in all health professions across the continuum of medical education and across the Geisinger system, including but not limited to physician, pharmacy, nursing and advance practice providers.  Other learner groups such as education and research staff would also benefit from this education. 

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. recognize challenges to learning outcomes due to limited personalization in our current medical education system.
  2. discuss how precision education can optimize physicians’ lifelong learning by personalizing medical education.
  3. review how precision education can be leveraged to impact broad, high-impact agendas.

Attendance

Your attendance will be recorded within three to four days of the conclusion of the activity.  Credit will display on your continuing education transcript once the activity evaluation is completed.
