Series Overview

This program will address in a multidisciplinary fashion issues and quality improvement initiatives in the care of children requiring surgery at Geisinger.  Multidisciplinary peer review of cases pertinent to children’s surgery will be completed.  Review of data and events as required by the American College of Surgeon’s Children’s Surgery Verification Program to improve quality of children’s surgical care. 

Target Audience

This course is designed for pediatric surgeons, physicians, advanced practitioners and nurses. Other learner groups such as administration, ancillary staff, chaplains, care management and social workers will also benefit from this course.
