Disclosure Policy

Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine must ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all its continuing education activities. Each person in a position to control the educational content of a CE activity must disclose the existence or non-existence of any financial relationship that they have with an ineligible company. There is no minimum financial threshold; individuals must disclose all financial information, regardless of the amount. Individuals must disclose regardless of their view of the relevance of the relationship to the education. Any identified conflicts of interest will be resolved prior to the start of the activity. Subsequently, disclosure information is made available prior to the start of the activity.
