At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the patient experience with COPD including treatments, therapies, appointments, and hospitalizations
- Describe the patient's view of "my normal"
- Compare the "physician's perspective" to your experience in treating patients experiencing exacerbation of COPD.
- Discuss "Call to Action" and how our profession can help with earlier diagnosis, better understanding of COPD and preventions of exacerbations, and partnering with physicians and patients.
