Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Describe true psychiatric characteristic delusions and hallucinations.
- Describe possible causes of psychosis both psychiatric and others.
- Demonstrate knowledge of treatment of psychosis and agitation in the emergency department
- Compare complications of labor and evaluate the management required for fetal distress, premature labor, and rupture of the uterus.
- Discuss different types of male genital infections, including balanitis, balanoposthitis, urethritis, prostatitis, epididymitis, and orchitis.
- To discuss the history of helicopter EMS
- To discuss the role and approach of the medical director in critical care transport
