At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to generate reports that identify patient and operational trends, interpret data effectively for inform decision-making and create planning objectives to improve clinical and operational outcomes.
- Be able to recognize the common types of patient misconduct and the underlying causes. Apply effective communication techniques and strategies to de-escalate difficult situations. Provide detailed understanding of documentation and reporting incidents of patient misconduct in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Exhibit techniques for managing and motivating team members to enhance productivity and morale. In addition to managing relationships with senior leaders to align goals with organizational objectives.
- Illustrate the skills to access provider epic efficiency reports, the meaning of each data point, and clearly articulate the resources available to optimize provider epic tools which enhance workflow and time saving techniques, leading to improved performance and patient management.
