Learning Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

1. Understand esophageal anatomy, distinct sites of perforation and correlate clinical symptoms to aid radiologic diagnosis

2. Be able to describe an approach to the imaging evaluation of suspected esophageal perforation

3. Recognize appropriate uses of CT esophagography in clinical practice, as well as its advantages and disadvantages when compared to fluoroscopic evaluation

4. Familiarize radiologists with CT esophagography techniques

5. Identify key imaging features of emergent esophageal perforation
