- Review definition of SUID and recent trends in epidemiology.
- Identify disparities in rates of SUID in racial and ethnic groups.
- Report data for Pennsylvania rates of SUID stratified by race.
- Evaluate possible causes and contributors for disparities in rates of SUID across different populations.
- Inventory current practices at Geisinger regarding SIDS/SUID education.
- Reflect on methods of improving cultural competency in SUID education and prevention strategies.
