At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

• To understand the basic pharmacology, mechanism of action and side effects of GLP-1 agonists.
• To appreciate the impact of preconception weight loss on fertility and pregnancy outcomes in women with anovulation/PCOS vs. those with “simple” obesity.
• To know the risks of pre-conception and early prenatal GLP-1 agonist exposure.
• To be able to help inform, support and guide Ob/Gyn patients who are using GLP-1 agonist meds, even if you are not the one prescribing them.
