At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

  • Distinguish hypertrophic LS from classic LS and dVIN using key histologic and immunophenotypic features.
  • Recognize hypertrophic LS as a potential precursor lesion in the HPV-independent pathway to vulvar SCC.
  • Evaluate whether platelet shortages lead to significant impacts on patient care outcomes.
  • Explore whether guideline-concordant care for platelet transfusions may reduce waste while maintaining quality.
