Ophthalmic Allied Personnel CE Update
Target Audience
This activity is designed for Certified Ophthalmic Technicians, Ophthalmic Photographers, RNs, and LPNs. Other learner groups such as uncertified Ophthalmic Technicians, Ophthalmology PAR staff, Ophthalmology secretaries and surgical schedulers, Para-Optometric technicians, and Opticians would also benefit from this education.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- summarize common Corneal pathologies and their treatments
- increase knowledge on Cataract surgery and premium IOLs
- discuss proper usage and techniques of Bscan Ultrasonography
- summarize common Oculoplastic pathologies and their treatments

Henry Hood Center for Health Research is located on the Geisinger Campus in Danville, Pennsylvania (Montour County), Exit 224 on Interstate 80. Routes 11 and 54 also intersect in Danville.
