Qualitative Boot Camp 2026

June 16, 2026 to June 17, 2026
This is a virtual educational activity. Geisinger’s Annual Qualitative Research Boot Camp is an engaging, virtual two-day event designed to empower learners, educators, researchers, and practitioners, both within and external to the Geisinger system, to advance their expertise in qualitative research. On day one participants will be introduced to foundational concepts of qualitative research, providing a comprehensive overview of qualitative research essentials. Participants on day two will dive deeper, focusing on study design, advanced qualitative methodologies, and the practical application of associated research methods. This interactive virtual conference combines dynamic didactic lectures, insights from expert panelists, interactive Q&A sessions, and breakout rooms for hands-on learning opportunities. Whether you’re developing your first study or refining your research design, the boot Camp fosters collaboration and skill-building tailored to your needs.

This activity is designed for any research faculty or staff with interest in qualitative research study design and methodology including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, genetic counselors, and staff scientists.  Other learner groups such as SRIP/SURP students, medical students, genetic counseling students, and genetic counseling assistants would also benefit from this education.
