Reframing Faculty Thriving as a Systems Responsibility Across the Medical Education Continuum

Enduring - This is a virtual, asynchronous educational session that is part of the Center for Faculty and Professional Development’s Foundations in Medical Education series.

Foundations in Medical Education offers participants an opportunity to watch a recorded session that focuses on one of following four foundational topics in medical education: learning theory, clinical teaching, classroom teaching, and assessment and evaluation.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for residents and fellows PDs, APDs, faculty and coordinators, medical students, clerkship directors and coordinators, clinical staff, advanced practitioners, CE activity directors, faculty and organizers.

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe how national accreditation and regulatory structures can impact faculty well-being and thriving.
  • Identify leadership behaviors and system-level strategies that can improve well-being and thriving.
