- State the physiological changes that obesity causes on the respiratory system.
- Describe the mechanisms that explain why obesity is a risk factor for the development of various respiratory conditions.
- Explain the association between obesity and obstructive sleep apnea, obesity hypoventilation syndrome and respiratory failure.
- Review an overview of the benefits of weight loss on the respiratory system.
