Series Overview
The Surgery Institute Operations team requires focused training on the functional areas of business including finance, human resources, marketing, access and strategy, to be effective business leaders for their departments and the greater good of the organization. Additionally, this training will give managers the ability to align purpose, vision, values, character and commitment with competency. This activity provides training from experts within the field while allowing for group discussion and team building amongst the Institute's leadership team.
Target Audience
This course is designed for the Surgery Institute Leadership team including nursing leaders, team leaders, APP leaders, operation leaders and directors, AVP/VP and physician leaders.

Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Worker Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 4 clinical continuing education credits.
