Series Overview

As new chemotherapy agents and policies change, their knowledge becomes more integral into the care of our patients. These lectures will serve to provide more clinical information to improve overall cancer patient care. The hematology/oncology pharmacy department will be in charge of presenting updated policies and procedures discussed at the Hematology/Oncology P&T Subcommittee and the Beacon meetings, so our staff is up to date. In addition, the pharmacist will present on a “hot topic” or other topic of interest to the nursing staff using system policies and primary literature.
