Define potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs).
Identify problems related to PIMs in geriatric patient populations.
Describe the role of pharmacists in PIM deprescribing in an emergency department setting.
Compare the risk of all-cause mortality in patients using single inhaler triple therapies (SITTs) versus multiple inhaler triple therapies (MITTs) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Describe the differences in severe cardiopulmonary event risk for patients on SITTs vs MITTs.
Analyze the clinical significance of the variation in outcomes for patients using different inhaler regimens.
