At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Evaluate the efficacy and safety of tranexamic acid in managing upper gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with cirrhotic patients.
- Discuss the clinical implications of these findings on patient management and practice.
- Analyze recent evidence on antibiotic treatment durations in bloodstream infections.
- Differentiate between treatments in pathogen-specific causes of bacteremia.
