Series Overview

This program seeks to identify gaps in education practices, augment the clinical teaching skills, and enhancing faculty familiarity with all aspects of the clinical learning environment, including medical education literature which supports the GCSOM curriculum.

 

Target Audience

This course is designed for all medical specialties and sub-specialties including physicians (allopathic and osteopathic) who teach medical students in the clinical environment. Other learner groups such as advance practice providers, nursing leaders and educators, and other system educators would also benefit from this education.

Accreditation 

In support of improving patient care, Geisinger College of Health Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

 

The Geisinger College of Health Sciences is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
