At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

  • identify appropriate candidate for epilepsy surgery.
  • describe seizure semiology and discuss its lateraling and localizing value.
  • identify common epileptogenic lesional abnormalities on MRI.
  •  identify seizure onset zone and symptomatic zones on EEG, MEG, and sEEG.
  • triage patients to resective, minimally invasive surgery or neuromodulation.
